My boring life
We had some major excitement this week. Tuesday Sherri came home to a bushy tail under the dish washer. So I spent the night trying to catch the little beast. It turned out to be a little grey squirrel. We spent a couple hours trying to get him to into a plastic tote. But he just wouldn't go. I ran out and purchased a couple rat traps and baited them with peanut butter. Then waited. . . After an hour or so we heard a loud squeak and snap. I quickly ran into the kitchen and got ahold of his tail with a long pinchers. But he still wouldn't come out. He got loose once again and hid deep under the sink cupboard. While re-baiting to trap, I noticed blood. We didn't hear any more noises all night. At lunch on wednesday, I came up with an idea to shove a camera under the cabinet and see what was there. I had to break my super secret infra-red wireless baby monitor. I could just barely make out a furry lump deep in the corner. When i got home from work that night, I had to cut some of the under-structure to get to the hole I shoved the camera in. After 3 hours of messing around, I had to duct tape a coathanger to the end of a broomhandle and stretch to get to the fur. I finally got it out. Man, what a fiasco!
